MOVEMENT IS THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE BRAIN
Children need to move and develop neurological pathways while they’re young.
With WHEELS: children can master confidence, speed, distance and learn control. Using gross motor coordination, they can develop good balance and bilateral integration. When turning a bike, you’re crossing the midline, integrating the left and right sides of the brain that also deal with direction: right, left, forward, backward, while experiencing freedom outside without a game controller in hand.
American Academy of Pediatrics and Healthy children.org noted:
learning to ride a bike—a symbol of independence—is a developmental milestone in a child’s life.
